We are currently recruiting a full time Special Education Teacher for SY 24-25 . You will have the opportunity to work in a challenging environment with the reward of impacting children's lives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides our students with specially designed instruction developed to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from his/her disability such as: a resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout services.
• Participate in professional development that is specific to special education curriculum, along with data tracking tools.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and abilities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in compliance with state and federal regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must hold a valid Special Education Teaching License and PEL | Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in Special Education.
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to student success.
• Experience working with students with diverse needs, including autism, learning disabilities, and emotional/behavioral disorders.
