Location: McHenry, IL

Position Type: Full-Time

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide individual and group counseling to address students’ emotional, social, and behavioral needs.
• Facilitate interventions and programs that promote social-emotional learning and mental health awareness.
• Ensure that an effective treatment plan has been developed for each student served;
• Provide regular consultation to program staff and parents in matters pertaining to the social-emotional needs of students;
• Participate as a member IEP Team (Individualized Educational Planning Team)
• Maintain confidentiality
• Write appropriate present level of performance statements with current data.
• Provide appropriate documentation of programs of goals and objectives;
• Provide direct services to students and/or parents as described in the IEPT meeting report;

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Illinois Professional Educator’s License (PEL)
• School Social Work endorsement required
• Experience working in a school setting
• Strong ability to problem solve and collaborate with others
