Loonie Times Custom Mascot & Plush is seeking a highly motivated, self-starter to fill the role of Operations Coordinator . The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Event planning and coordinate maintenance and repair of client mascots.
- Manage the shipping calendar, ensuring mascots are packed, shipped on time, and all related paperwork is completed; communicate professionally with clients to coordinate shipping and pick-up.
- Work with independent contractors and suppliers.
- Assist the production team with inventory management and ensure the ordering and maintenance of both office and production inventory. If necessary, visit vendors to source, select and bring material
- Prepare POs, estimates, invoices, and maintain QuickBooks records.
- Perform general office tasks such as responding to client inquiries, filing, maintaining production files and databases for the clients.
- Ensuring production data is maintained without errors and is updated on daily basis
- Support the production manager with client coordination, planning and execution of production schedule
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with MS Office.
- Experience with QuickBooks.
- Ability to lift 50lbs+.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a production environment is a plus.
- Having own car required
