Position Title: Sales Support Specialist
Location: Plano, Texas (On-site)
Compensation: Up to $20/hour
Overview:
We are hiring a Sales Support Specialist to support one of our valued clients. This entry-level role is integral to the client's Finance organization and involves operational and administrative assistance to the sales team to ensure revenue goals are met. Reporting to the Sales Support Manager, this position requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the client's Field Sales Team to assist with quoting complex deals and addressing inquiries about product configurations, one-off quotes, and order processes.
- Support short-term sales promotions and liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth deal progression.
- Conduct training sessions for the client's Field Sales Team on quoting procedures, system navigation (SFDC beginner and advanced), and process guidelines.
- Identify system gaps or areas for improvement and escalate issues to appropriate resources for resolution.
- Manage sales support requests via a shared mailbox, prioritizing tasks based on revenue goals, customer relationship priorities, and timing requirements.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support client objectives.
Skills and Experience:
- 2–5 years in sales support, sales operations, or a related field preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with customers, distributors, and resellers.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce CPQ and Steelbrick highly preferred).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
- Flexibility to work extended hours during month-end or quarter-end periods and alternate shifts to meet global business needs.
