Founded in 1961 by André and Coqueline Courrèges, the Courrèges house revolutionised the world of fashion and design. Movement, purity, colour, light... such are the hallmarks and distinctive style that Courrèges began asserting as early as 1965 with the emphasis on structured lines and the focus on white, before branching into colour variations and new materials, such as vinyl. Eminently optimistic and full of energy, Courrèges has blazed a trail in every field where it has ever dared to venture.
The revival of this legendary brand is now taking on a new dimension with the decision to change the positioning strategy for its fashion, accessories and perfume activities. It is still focused on its mission of continually offering a growing range of innovative and modern designs in keeping with the brand's original ideals.
The Courrèges project has been taking a new turn in 2020 with the appointment of Nicolas Di Felice as the Artistic Director to write a successful new chapter for this legendary Maison.
Under the impulse of Nicolas Di Felice, Courrèges is currently experiencing strong growth of its fashion and fragrance activities.
Courrèges will open its second store in the USA in May in South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa. We are recruiting an entire team for this exciting project!
Main duties of this position will be the following:
Store organization:
- Guide the team on the selling floor, make sure all clients have a Client Advisor at reach
- Analyse and monitor KPIs
- Inform the team on the performance and provide continuous advice to help reach the target
- Manage plannings and analyse workloads
- Participate in training the team and developing each individual
Clienteling:
- Ensure an exceptional client experience in accordance with a demanding client
- Proactively update clients in the outdoor queue when the boutique is at capacity and take responsibility to ensure the wait time is minimized to receive service
- Be able to provide basic information about the neighborhood, store services and other customer inquiries
- Develop clients’ loyalty and retention alongside the customer database
- Analyse regularly the client list to adapt the action plan (determine clients to reach out)
- Sustain and promote the culture of the brand internally and externally
- Manage administrative and accounting responsabilities
- Ensure compliance with company standards, in relation with store merchandising and product enhancement
Profile:
At least 3 years in a retail management position
