Role: Maintenance Planner
Location: Richmond, KY
Compensation:
- Pay Rate: $41.04/hour (1.5x for overtime)
- Holidays: 9 paid holidays
Expense Reimbursement:
Reimbursements are processed weekly upon submission of approved expense sheets:
- Mobilization: Mileage reimbursed at $0.70 per mile.
- Lodging:
- 100% of GSA per diem rate for the first 60 days.
- 75% of GSA per diem rate thereafter or upon securing long-term lodging (max $110/day).
- Meals:
- 100% of GSA per diem rate for the first 60 days.
- 75% of GSA per diem rate thereafter or upon securing long-term lodging (max $68/day).
- Receipts are not required for meal reimbursement.
- Mileage: Reimbursed at $0.70 per mile for POV use. A compact/intermediate rental car may be authorized if a POV is unavailable at the work location.
Minimum Qualifications:
- U.S. citizen or naturalized citizen eligible for and able to maintain site access.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and general office equipment.
- Ability to meet fitness-for-duty standards for essential job functions, including emergency or contingency requirements.
- Experience with maintenance/project planning using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Proven ability to develop job plans and work instructions.
- Familiarity with maintenance processes, plant modifications, and engineering principles.
Desired Qualifications:
- Understanding of hazardous materials, furnaces, scrubber systems, and related management techniques.
- Experience in work control and planning maintenance in high-risk environments (e.g., nuclear, chemical demilitarization, decommissioning).
- Proficiency with Maximo CMMS.
- Technical writing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct all work safely, adhering to environmental regulations and permits.
- Maintain punctuality and good attendance; be available for overtime or shift work.
- Assist supervisors with maintenance planning, request validation, and work order closure.
- Develop and manage work packages, including material requisitions, labor estimates, and field support.
- Conduct planning walkdowns and reviews with subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental guidelines.
- Verify post-maintenance testing aligns with engineering specifications before scheduling installations.
- Coordinate with vendors for tasks outside in-house maintenance capabilities.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to complete tasks efficiently.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support systemization, operations, and maintenance workflows to achieve project objectives.
- Provide daily progress updates to supervisors.
- Prepare detailed job plans for unique or first-of-a-kind activities.
