Job Title: Head Estimator
Location: Miami-Fort Lauderdale Area
Salary: $130,000 - $170,000 per year

They are renowned for delivering high-quality, innovative construction solutions and are seeking an experienced Head Estimator to join their dynamic team.
Position Overview:
As the Head Estimator , you will play a crucial role in overseeing all estimating functions for projects across multiple sectors including multi-family residential, commercial mixed-use, and hospitality developments. You will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates, managing bids, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. This is a leadership role requiring expertise in pre-construction, team collaboration, and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the estimating department, ensuring all project estimates are accurate and submitted on time.
- Review and analyze construction plans and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals, working closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure cost-effective project planning and execution.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, and vendors to support business development efforts.
- Manage the estimating process from pre-construction through to project award, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to junior estimators and team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on multi-family, mixed-use commercial, or hospitality projects.
- Proven track record of leading estimating teams and managing large, complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of estimating software and tools, as well as construction industry standards and best practices.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
