Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Procurement Manager – Mechanical Commodities to lead procurement efforts and drive cost optimization for their respective categories. This is a critical role in shaping and scaling the procurement function for mechanical components and materials, ensuring alignment with organizational goals in quality, cost, and supplier partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Procurement Leadership:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for mechanical commodities to support the company’s growth in defense and telecommunications markets.
Supplier Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture relationships with key suppliers, ensuring optimal performance, delivery, and cost savings.
Process Development and Scaling:

Cost Savings and Value Creation:

Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 7+ years of procurement experience, with a focus on mechanical commodities (e.g., metals, machined parts, fasteners, castings).
- Proven track record in developing procurement strategies and achieving measurable cost savings.
Skills:

- Ability to develop scalable procurement processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA or similar) is a plus.
Industry Knowledge:
