We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled AutoCAD Drafter to join our team, focusing on substation and energy distribution designs. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating detailed technical drawings and plans for electrical substations and related infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and prepare engineering designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other data using AutoCAD software.
• Modify and update existing drawings based on feedback or changes in project requirements.
• Work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure designs meet project specifications and deadlines.
• Ensure all drawings and blueprints comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines.
• Keep an organized database of all drawings, revisions, and project files for future reference.
• Develop alternative design solutions or quick engineering fixes for complex problems.
• Keep up with the latest CAD technologies and incorporate them into the design process to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Computer-Aided Design, Drafting, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting, preferably in the energy distribution or electrical substation sector.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software; strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and substation layouts.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of drafting and design.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively as part of a team.
