Kirby Bates Associates has been exclusively retained by UMH-Sparrow to conduct their search for the new President for EW Sparrow Hospital. **HEALTHCARE/HOSPITAL EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**

The President will lead the system’s flagship hospital, a 733-bed teaching hospital located in Lansing, Michigan. UMH-Sparrow is a leading healthcare provider in mid-Michigan, serving a diverse community with a comprehensive range of medical services, including the area’s only Level 1 trauma center. As part of the esteemed University of Michigan Health, Sparrow benefits from cutting-edge research, innovative technologies, and access to world-renowned expertise.

The President of EW Sparrow Hospital is ultimately responsible for operational excellence and financial performance of the hospital.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Join a rapidly growing organization whose impact at more than 150 sites of care: EW Sparrow Hospital, community hospitals in Carson City, Charlotte, Ionia and St. Johns, and the 478 UMH-Sparrow primary care providers and specialists serving patients in multiple locations across the region.
• Reports directly to the UMH Regional President.
• Provides executive operational leadership for the regional flagship hospital.

Qualifications:

• Graduate degree in Business, Law, Hospital Administration, or a related clinical field. MHA or MBA strongly preferred.
• Minimum of seven years of senior level leadership experience within a health system.
• Successful experience in hospital fiscal turnaround and P&L management.
• Experience working within a complex, integrated health system.
