TECHNICAL LEAD ENGINEER / BACKEND ENGINEER

$200,000 - $240,000 BASE SALARY + EQUITY

THE ROLE

As a Backend Engineer on the Platform Engineering team, you’ll design scalable microservices, optimize APIs, and support critical infrastructure for innovative products. Reporting to leadership, this role suits a proactive professional eager to drive impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices infrastructure.
• Develop APIs and RESTful services to support GenAI-powered products.
• Collaborate with product teams to integrate customer-facing features and improve UI interactions.
• Ensure system scalability and reliability as the platform grows.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Experience: 8+ years in backend software engineering,
• Proficient in Python (primary development language).
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, others accepted).
• Strong background in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and large-scale system design.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Bonus: Experience with chat systems, GenAI, and customer-facing technologies.
• Education: Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
