Location: United States (Remote) -- 50-75% Travel (there may be some international travel expected to Canada / LATAM - however most will be US based).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead telephony modernization efforts on a per site basis from start of discovery to sunsetting of the legacy telephony systems.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology transition plan from Cisco and Avaya telephony systems to Microsoft Teams enterprise voice.
- Manage the implementation of Microsoft Teams calling plans or direct routing, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Provide technical expertise and support throughout the transition process, addressing any issues or challenges that arise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in telephony systems, particularly with Cisco and Avaya.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams enterprise voice, including calling plans and direct routing.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to adapt to changing technologies and stay current with industry trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in Cisco, Avaya, or Microsoft Teams.
- Experience in large-scale telephony system migrations.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure and VoIP technologies.
