Registered Nurse: Emergency Department (Full-Time)
Location : Brownwood, TX
Shift : Varied Shifts

Sign-On Bonus : $20,000
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department (ED) team at Emergency Department in Brownwood, TX . This full-time position offers an opportunity to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, adaptable nurse who can manage patients of all ages and acuity levels, from minor injuries to life-threatening conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and triage patients with varying levels of urgency in the Emergency Department.
  • Provide direct and individualized care to patients using the nursing process, ensuring safe and effective outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care delivery and continuous patient monitoring.
  • Prioritize patient care and nursing interventions, particularly in high-stress, emergency scenarios.
  • Participate in improvement initiatives and maintain standards in accordance with the Texas Nurse Practice Act .
  • Maintain professionalism and a high level of patient confidentiality in all aspects of care.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education : Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, AD).
  • Licensure :
  • Registered Nurse .
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required before patient contact.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required within 90 days of hire.
  • PALS or ENPC (Pediatric Advanced Life Support or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) required within 6 months of hire.
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required within 18 months of hire.
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) required within 90 days of hire.
  • Experience : No previous experience required; this position is open to both new graduates and experienced nurses.
  • Skills & Abilities :
  • Ability to manage high-acuity patients with composure and precision.
  • Excellent self-initiative and adaptability in a fast-changing emergency environment.
  • Professional appearance and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
