Now Hiring: Operating Room Registered Nurse (Full-Time)
Location : Brownwood, TX
Position Type : Full-Time
Shift : Day Shift (Monday through Friday) with on-call weekends and holidays
Sign-On Bonus : $30,000
Relocation bonus: $5,000 for applicants 200+ miles away from employer

Job Summary
As an Operating Room Registered Nurse , you will:

  • Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care in the operating room, gastroenterology lab, and other perioperative services.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure positive patient outcomes and the delivery of patient-family centered care.
  • Provide direct and individualized nursing care, utilizing scientific principles and applying best practices to a wide range of health conditions.
  • Participate in committee activities, surveys, and improvement initiatives to continuously enhance the quality of care.
  • Adhere to the standards of the Texas Nurse Practice Act and maintain a professional, safe, and efficient work environment.

Qualifications
  • Education : Associate's Degree in Nursing (AD) required.
  • Licenses/Certifications :
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required before initiating patient contact.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) required within 6 months of hire.
  • Experience : No previous experience required; training will be provided.
  • Skills and Abilities :
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential patient information with integrity.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
