Responsibilities:
Senior System Support Specialist (Solaris/Red Hat Linux)
This role will include project work and interacting with multiple team members.
There is occasional after-hours or weekend work is required.
The main function of a Technical Analyst is to plan, design, develop and implement efficient business and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes.
Must Have Skills:
• 8+ years of hands-on technical working experience with administration, installation, configuration & troubleshooting of Solaris (versions 10/11) and Red Hat Linux (versions 6/7/8) Operating Systems.
• 8+ years of hands-on technical working experience with the configuration, administration, builds and troubleshooting of Veritas/Symantec Storage Foundation (VSF) & Veritas/Symantec Cluster Services.
• hands-on technical working experience with Network Information Service (NIS), DNS, Network File System (NFS), Solaris Zones & Solaris Logical Domains (LDoms), ZFS, and Disksuite (SVM), raid volumes
• Experience in troubleshooting and fixing Oracle sparc and x86 HW platform servers and engaging vendor support.
• Demonstrate working experience of SAN storage at OS level & Experience in scripting and Ansible automation
Nice-To-Have Skills
Datacenter migration project experience in previous roles.
Best Vs Avg: Senior system admin with must have skills, who can get started with little to no training.
