We are currently looking for a Systems Analyst to join our Calgary office.
We are seeking a skilled Systems Analyst to support and optimize our Maintenance Management System (MMS). The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and business acumen, with a focus on enhancing the efficiency of maintenance operations through system improvements. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, and effective communication with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess system performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to enhance MMS efficiency.
- Work with the MMS vendor to manage system upgrades, patches, configurations, and oversee testing, deployment, and post-deployment support.
- Act as a liaison between end-users, business units, and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of system requirements and issues.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including system specifications, workflows, user manuals, and training materials.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues between MMS and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, inventory management), ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
- Basic Data Analysis: Assist in diagnosing data issues by understanding data structures and using SQL queries to resolve discrepancies.
- Identify and resolve system bugs, discrepancies, and inefficiencies through analysis and testing.
- Provide training and user support to ensure successful system adoption and effective use across departments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Systems Analyst, preferably with maintenance management systems or enterprise software applications.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems through system solutions.
- Experience with maintenance management software, including CMMS, ERP, and inventory systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of maintenance management processes, including asset management, scheduling, work orders, and inventory control.
- Proficiency in creating system documentation, process flows, and user guides.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
