Job Description

Our client in the banking industry is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager. This will support our client's Personal Savings & Investment portfolio, and will involve working on National Campaigns which include Digital campaigns, Radio/TV campaigns to help drive acquisition growth.


This is a 12-month contract which requires the talent to work onsite at our client's office in the financial district of Toronto 2-3 days per week, depending on business need.


Key Responsibilities


Customer Focus

  • Collaborate with business functions and teams to develop and implement omni-channel strategies that drive customer acquisition, deepen relationships, enhance retention, and foster loyalty.
  • Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns aligned with business objectives and marketing goals.
  • Conduct audience research, including demographic, attitudinal, and behavioral analysis, to inform campaign briefs and strategies.
  • Translate marketing goals and consumer insights into compelling communication strategies, emphasizing key benefits, offers, and proof points.
  • Develop creative briefs for media and agency partners, evaluate campaign concepts, and assess their impact on customer behavior.
  • Leverage media insights to optimize campaign effectiveness and ensure seamless execution of media and creative plans.
  • Lead cross-functional marketing teams to execute campaigns across targeted and channel-specific initiatives.
  • Formulate and implement marketing strategies, including value propositions and competitive advantages, translating them into actionable marketing plans.
  • Monitor campaign performance, take corrective actions as needed, and evaluate campaign effectiveness through post-implementation reviews.
  • Use storytelling to communicate marketing results and demonstrate value.
  • Manage marketing projects using best practices, ensuring they are delivered on time, on target, and within budget.
  • Navigate challenges by engaging stakeholders, aligning resources, and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Analyze data to draw meaningful insights, make recommendations, and support decision-making with clear, concise narratives.
  • Promote innovation by introducing external ideas and fostering a creative environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing marketing programs
  • Ideally, experience in the Banking or Finance industry
  • Strong focus on digital campaigns
  • Experience working on National campaigns - including Radio/TV
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with Project Management
  • Strong comfort level with Microsoft Office
