What is important for them is that you must have automotive experience as a Quality Manager. Minimum Requirements

• A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry as a Quality Engineer/Supervisor/Manager
• Having experience as a Quality Manager where you were responsible for IATF 16949 audits

Responsibilities:

• Manage quality inspectors and quality engineers and providing the training and resources to ensure their success
• Being an active member of the Corrective Action Team, APQP Team
• Sign and approve PPAP’s
• Review prototypes and ensure accurate documentation
• Evaluate suppliers
• Maintain IATF procedures and work instructions
• Ensures that the quality team works as a unit
• Manages work hours of the quality team
• Conducts annual reviews with the team as well as merit increases
