A health services network in Orange County, NY is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a great opportunity with their Gastroenterology team.About the Opportunity:Specialty: Gastroenterology Schedule: Flexible - 3 twelve hour days, 4 nine hour days, or 5 seven hour daysHours: Standard business Responsibilities:The Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) will:Diagnose health conditions and illnessesExamine patients and their medical recordsInform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medicationsOrder and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)Propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseasesPrescribe medicationsMaintain accurate records and schedulesEducate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics and preventionPerform other dugites, as needed Qualifications:1+ year of related Gastroenterology experienceBachelor's and/or Master's DegreeNYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) licenseSolid assessment, clinical, and documentation skillsPatient orientedGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organized
