Location: San Diego County, CA (San Diego, El Cajon, Chula Vista, San Ysidro)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, with potential for 2 days in the future)

Salary Range: $92,000 – $122,000

Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving diverse, low-income, and geriatric populations across San Diego County. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality mental health care through a mix of in-person and telehealth visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual therapy sessions, conducting both intake (1-hour) and follow-up appointments (30-45 minutes, depending on patient demographics).
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 12 visits per day, focusing on adults while also supporting adolescents.
  • Deliver culturally competent care to a diverse population, including Spanish-speaking patients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinic policies and procedures.
  • Participate in a multidisciplinary team to address mild to moderate mental health concerns.
  • Support high-need areas, including therapy for children (ages 5+), pregnant and postpartum patients, and other specialized populations.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California (LMFTs are not eligible for this role).
  • Fluency in Spanish (required).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment is preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to manage a manageable but steady caseload.

Why Join Us?

  • Eligible for state and federal loan repayment programs.
  • Work with a passionate team dedicated to improving mental health in underserved communities.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.

About the Role:

At the FQHC level, you’ll work with patients experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns, offering monthly therapy sessions tailored to their needs. For CCBHC-level care, you’ll focus on moderate to severe concerns, providing weekly therapy sessions. This role emphasizes the importance of personalized, quality care and making a meaningful impact in the community.

To Apply:

If you’re a licensed LCSW with a commitment to providing compassionate care in a dynamic and supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you! Please submit your resume and cover letter detailing your experience and qualifications.
