Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Location: San Diego County, CA (San Diego, El Cajon, Chula Vista, San Ysidro)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, with potential for 2 days in the future)
Salary Range: $92,000 – $122,000
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving diverse, low-income, and geriatric populations across San Diego County. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality mental health care through a mix of in-person and telehealth visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual therapy sessions, conducting both intake (1-hour) and follow-up appointments (30-45 minutes, depending on patient demographics).
- Manage a caseload of approximately 12 visits per day, focusing on adults while also supporting adolescents.
- Deliver culturally competent care to a diverse population, including Spanish-speaking patients.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinic policies and procedures.
- Participate in a multidisciplinary team to address mild to moderate mental health concerns.
- Support high-need areas, including therapy for children (ages 5+), pregnant and postpartum patients, and other specialized populations.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California (LMFTs are not eligible for this role).
- Fluency in Spanish (required).
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to manage a manageable but steady caseload.

About the Role:
At the FQHC level, you’ll work with patients experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns, offering monthly therapy sessions tailored to their needs. For CCBHC-level care, you’ll focus on moderate to severe concerns, providing weekly therapy sessions. This role emphasizes the importance of personalized, quality care and making a meaningful impact in the community.
