What You'll Do:
As a Senior Tax Analyst at Pinecrest Consulting, you will play a crucial role in our Financial Services team, ensuring that our clients receive precise and compliant tax-related services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Tax Preparation and Filing: Prepare and file accurate tax returns for clients, adhering to the latest tax laws and regulations.
- Client Financial Services: Provide comprehensive tax services to clients, ensuring all financial reporting is precise and delivered promptly.
- Complex Financial Reporting: Develop and review client financial statements and tax documents, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Audit and Compliance: Assist in conducting both internal and external audits, identify any discrepancies or non-compliance issues, and implement appropriate corrective measures.
- Financial Analysis and Forecasting: Analyze client financial data, forecast tax obligations, and provide strategic tax planning and risk management advice.
- Client Engagement: Serve as a primary point of contact for tax-related inquiries from clients and internal teams, ensuring clear and effective communication.
What We're Looking For:
- CPA certification is a plus but not required.
- 2+ years of professional experience in tax analysis.
- Strong expertise in tax preparation (specifically S-Corp returns), financial reporting, and compliance.
- Proficiency with tax software such as TurboTax, QuickBooks, or similar, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of explaining complex tax information clearly and persuasively.
- A proactive approach and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
