Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to prospect and sell custom steel fabricated products and drive revenue growth across the Southeast region. Build and maintain customer relationships, generate leads, price product offerings, negotiate, develop customer agreements which are profitable for Dunbarton and meet the customer needs. This position reports to Dunbarton's National Sales Director and requires up to 50% travel.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share and drive revenue growth.
  • Foster strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify new opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Document, track and report sales activities on weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with internal customer service, engineering, product development and manufacturing teams to align sales strategy.
  • Act as the technical advisor and advocate for new products in the assigned territory.
  • Prepare detailed reports on sales activities, forecasts, and market trends for upper management.
  • Act as the customer's key point of contact for both pre-and after- sales product advice and support.

Skills

  • A minimum of two years experience in steel fabrication industries and markets including cutting, bending, forming, CNC, laser, painting and similar related manufacturing processes.
  • Proven B2B experience in the steel manufacturing industry.
  • Strong upselling techniques with the ability to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills which include phone calls, video calls, emails, face-to-face interactions and presentations.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Experience with CRM to document and track sales activities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Ideal candidate will live within a 300 mile radius of our manufacturing facility in Dothan, AL. This is a hybrid work position allowing for work from home with travel to the manufacturing facility and throughout the sales territory. Compensation is dependent on experience and demonstrated success record and will be a base salary plus strong commission structure for developing profitable new business. The is an exempt status position.
