The Medical AR Specialist is responsible for managing accounts receivable billing and collection of payments for all designated payers and locations in order to meet and maintain company goals.

Responsibilities:

Following up on medical bills and claims that have been sent to insurance carriers.
Collecting on issued bills for equipment and services to ensure timely payment
Appealing denied claims
Verifying the status of medical claims
Researching and re-billing unpaid claims
Requesting payment from insurance carriers
Communicating and receiving data from insurance carriers
