LHH is partnering with a long-time client to find an experienced Software Solutions Developer to join their team in Ventura County, CA! This candidate must possess a Top-Secret Clearance!

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and modify various computer applications or specialized utility programs.
• Assess user requirements and create software solutions.
• Tailor software for client use to enhance operational efficiency.
• Analyze and design databases within an application area, either working solo or coordinating database development as part of a team.
• Oversee the work of computer programmers.

Required Qualifications:

• Over 10 years of experience in the roles described above.
• At least 3 years of experience with Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CICD) pipelines, focusing on an agile DevOps workflow that ensures frequent and reliable software delivery through iterative processes. This includes writing code, integrating it, running tests, delivering releases, and deploying changes collaboratively and in real-time.
• 3 years of experience with Java, JavaScript, Containers, and Micro-services architecture.
• 3 years of experience with SQL.
• 3 years of experience with Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CICD) pipelines.
• 2 years of experience with HTML and CSS.
• 2 years of experience with Git.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket or similar tools.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies, working in self-organizing cross-functional teams to deliver value more quickly and with higher quality and predictability.
• Experience as a Scrum team member.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for both formal and informal interactions at staff, customer, and organizational levels.
• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite programs, including MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a plus.
• Knowledge of AMQP (RabbitMQ).
• Experience with Java ORM such as Hibernate.
• Proficiency in Java with Spring or Java EE.
• Experience with Restful web services.
• Familiarity with SPA, ReactJS/Redux.
• Knowledge of WebSockets.

Educational Requirements:

• MS or MA degree in a Computer or Information Science field or a relevant technical discipline.
• ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional 6 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree, or 4 additional years of work experience with a relevant associate degree.
