Position Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

Protingent Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer for a contract opportunity in Roseville, CA .

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize Catia V5 to complete and refine aircraft designs, ensuring adherence to design specifications.
• Create detailed engineering documentation, including dimensions, specifications, and drawings for supplier production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to ensure seamless integration and timely completion of designs.
• Support the overall development and production processes for various aircraft components and systems.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of 8 years of mechanical engineering experience within the aerospace industry (aircraft-specific experience preferred).
• Proficiency in Catia V5 is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and components.
• In-depth understanding of ASME Y14.5 standards for dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Ability to actively participate in internal tabletop reviews to gather and clarify design information.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to ITAR obligations.
