We are looking for an HR Manager that will report to the site operations leader and act as an advisor and strategic partner on all things HR. Candidate will be responsible for two manufacturing facilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct plant HR activities
- Serve as a strategic business partner
- Ensure the execution of key plant HR initiatives and processes to drive continuous improvement in all areas of HR
- Guide employee relations strategies
- Lead recruitment efforts for plant growth
- Track and analyze HR metrics
- Advise and counsel managers and staff on HR/employee issues
- Understand and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, rules, regulations, and statues governing HR processes.
- Understand and apply lean manufacturing concepts to HR systems and problem-solving
- Support community activities and location grants/donations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in a manufacturing organization
- Previous experience leading high-level transformation or organizational change initiatives
- SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies desired
