Network Engineer - Server & Storage

We are partnered with a globally respected Law Firm who are seeking an experienced Network Engineer based in the Washington, DC area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and intermittently improving our clients' current global network configuration and infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional IT teams and security groups to ensure the server and storage portfolio are secure, scalable, and performing optimally.

Responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of server storage and solutions to ensure a stable, secure, and scalable infrastructure
• Design and maintain on-premises cloud based systems, including virtualization data centers
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues
• Monitor network performance and make recommendations based on performance analysis

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure management, preferably in a professional services or legal environment
• Proficiency with cloud computing (e.g., Azure), virtualization (e.g., VMware, Citrix), scripting (e.g., PowerShell), and backup solutions (e.g., Commvault)
• Strong experience with network security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security incident management tools

This position will require hybrid-onsite time in Washington, D.C.
