Its deal flow includes digital media (software enablement, service delivery, infrastructure, agencies, and assets), special situations, and capital markets. Key Responsibilities
- M&A Sell-Side Leadership: Lead and execute M&A sell-side transactions with deal sizes ranging from $100M–$250M, leveraging a strong track record in middle-market digital media transactions.
- Deal Origination: Build and expand relationships to originate deals through direct outreach to industry founders, sponsor-owned companies, and professional networks. Strong origination skills are essential, with a proactive approach to client acquisition.
- Industry Expertise: Act as a thought leader in digital media, with a history of speaking engagements and representing your expertise to clients and industry professionals.
- Team Building: Assemble and lead deal teams, drawing from your network and collaborating with in-house resources to deliver superior results.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in M&A sell-side advisory, with a focus on digital media. Currently serving as MD or Head of Digital Media with a proven track record of successful middle-market transactions.
- Background: Preference for candidates from boutique or advisory-focused firms over larger institutions. Corporate or private equity experience is acceptable if complemented by a foundation of sell-side M&A.
- Relationship Building: Ability to bring established client relationships and industry contacts, with a focus on proactive deal origination.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and mentoring skills, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
