Operational Technology Architect (OT/IT)

Hybrid - Allentown, PA/Carlsbad, CA

$150-190k base salary

I’m currently partnered with a global Lifesciences organization who are looking for an experienced OT Architect to join them on a fulltime basis in either their Allentown, PA or Carlsbad, CA locations.

This role will be responsible for the design and implementation of OT systems across R&D and Manufacturing operations as well as working with business partners/departments to translate their needs into technical solutions whilst ensuring effective integration between OT and IT environments. You can also expect to be developing process control and data historian systems as well as interfaces to LIMS and Manufacturing Intelligence.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Have a strong knowledge of IT & OT Infrastructures (including process control and data integration systems)
• Demonstrable experience in process or factory automation with understanding of operational processes Proven experience designing, developing and implementing OT infrastructures including Distributed Control Systems and real time architectures
• Ideally have a knowledge of Industry 4.0 and related practices/initiatives
• Experience with control systems such as PLC, SCADA, MES, IoT and ERP
