Role: SAP FICO Consultant

Our client, a recognized manufacturer is looking to hire an SAP FICO Consultant on a full-time permanent basis to join their team in Burlington, ON.

As an SAP FICO consultant, you’ll play a crucial role in optimizing financial processes within the organization. Your expertise will span all aspects of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, along with integration points with Material Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Warehouse Management (WM). Here are the key responsibilities:

Your New Role

1. Implementing and Configuring SAP FICO Modules:

• Set up financial accounting and controlling processes.
• Customize and configure the SAP FICO system.
• Analyze and improve business processes.

1. Integration and Expertise:

• Integrate with MM, SD, PP, and other relevant modules.
• Hands-on experience in GL, AA, COPC, COPA, and Material Ledger.

1. Project Administration and Support:

• Carry out allocated tasks during SAP implementation.
• Manage project status and work plans.
• Resolve operational incidents and maintain service tickets.
• Liaise with offshore teams for incident resolution.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Relevant education (bachelor’s or master’s degree) in fields like Education, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or Engineering.
• Desired skills: AP, AR, MM, Costing, Asset Accounting, and integration points with FI/CO.
• Experience: At least 3 years as a Package Solution Consultant.
• Certifications: SAP, FICO, FI, S/4HANA, CO, PMP, ITIL, HANA (preferred).
