Your new role
- Consult and support partners in complex processes and IT application questions.
- Provide technical understanding of standard connectivity message structures and programming protocols. (supporting e.g. iDocs, XML, EDIFACT, VDA, JSON, etc.).
- Work and navigate in SAP middleware platforms.
- Show transactional experience in SAP R3 and/or S4/HANA (Business Functions in scope: Ordering/Market-to-Order, Procurement, Transport and Logistics, Finance and other related ERP processes with special focus on the NA business)
- Implement B2B integration with external partners.
- Support strategic planning and realization.
- Coordinate prototyping, configuration, and testing of solutions based on BASF requirements.
- Be responsible for supplemental tasks in the daily operation e.g. operational support (2nd/3rd level), issue resolving, quality assurance and business interaction.
- Support comprehensive business integration projects.
What you need to Succeed
- A bachelor’s degree required in Business IT, Business Economics or other IT relevant fields.
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Systems Connectivity (B2B), middleware configuration (SAP PO, CPI), SAP (R3 and/or S4/HANA,) required.
- Experience in API and Generative AI is preferred.
- Knowledge in ABAP and others is a plus.
- Knowledge of process and industry requirements specific to OTC, Logistics and related. processes incl. regulatory requirements are preferred.
