THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE DIRECTOR OF IT IS OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE MANAGEMENT, STRATEGY, & EXECUTION OF IT INFRASTRUCTURE FOR THEIR MULTIPLE BUSINESSES. THIS ROLE INVOLVES OVERSEEING THE IT DEPT., ENSURING THAT SYSTEMS, NETWORKS, & TECHNOLOGIES ALIGN WITH THE BUSINESS'S GOALS & OPERATIONAL NEEDS OF BOTH LEGAL ENTITIES. THE DIRECTOR SERVES AS A BRIDGE BETWEEN TECHNICAL & NON TECHNICAL DOMAINS, TRANSLATING BUSIENSS OBJECTIVES INTO TECHNOLOGICAL SOLUTIONS. PRIMARY PURPOSE -
- The Director of IT responsible for the management, strategy, & execution of IT infrastructure for multiple legal entities. This role involves overseeing the IT Dept. ensuring that systems, networks, policies, & technologies align with the business's goals & operational needs of both legal entities. The Director serves as a bridge between technical & non-technical domains, translating business objectives into technological solutions & vice versa. This role will ensure the IT team & its solutions contribute to the best possible customer experience, maximize operational performance, & achieve financial goals of continuous growth.
STRATEGIC IT PLANNING -
- Consult senior level stakeholders across the entire organization to identify business & technology needs & to optimize the use of information technology.
- Develop & execute a comprehensive strategic IT plan that aligns with the organization's goals, focusing on scalability, reliability, & efficiency.
- Create mid to long term objectives & goals for the IT team & work collaboratively with other departments to achieve corporate goals.
- Craft the technology roadmaps that forecast the future needs of the company, ensuring that the IT infrastructure is scalable, reliable & efficient.
- Lead the security of our networks & systems with proper policies, procedures & monitoring to ensure internal & external threats are minimized.
- Drive the implementation of best practices.
LEADERSHIP & TEAM MANAGEMENT -
- Lead the IT Dept., fostering a culture of innovation & continuous improvement.
- Manage & mentor IT staff, set objectives, & evaluate performance to ensure the right people are in the appropriate positions, & lead an engaged team that is agile, service-oriented & task driven.

- Recruit, hire, train, onboard, manage & offboard management & professional level team members within your team.
BUDGET & RESOURCE MANAGEMENT -
- Oversee the IT budget, ensuring cost effective allocation of resources.
- Negotiate with vendors & manage procurement processes for IT equipment & services.
- Make cost effective decisions regarding the deployment of IT resources, infrastructure investment, & technology procurement balancing financial constraints with the need to invest in new technologies & systems.
TECHNOLOGY OVERSIGHT -
- Stay abreast of emerging technology trends & assess their potential impact on the organization.
- Evaluate & integrate new technologies that can enhance business operations, ensuring that the organization's IT infrastructure is secure, resilient & up to date.
- Lead the adoption of new technologies & systems to enhance operation effectiveness.
RISK MANAGGEMENT & COMPLIANCE -
- Identify & mitigate IT risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations & industry standards.
- Develop robust IT policies & procedures to minimize these risks & protect the organization's digital assets.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT -
- Oversee IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, & meet the organization's standards & requirements.
STAKEHOLDER COMMUNICATION -
- Serve as the primary liaison between the IT Dept. & other business units, executive management, & external partners.
- Communicate IT strategies & initiatives effectively across all levels of the organization.
