Principal Architect (Data Platforms)

We are seeking a principal level data lake/cloud data focussed Architect to design and implement core data and Machine Learning platforms across an enterprise scale group of companies which includes a number of household name organisations.

You'll join a centralized team of Engineers and Architects within a specialised Data group, responsible for providing machine learning and data solutions across the portfolio group, with a particular focus on data analytics and cloud data platforms (Databricks/Snowflake etc.)

You’ll have a significant impact on the modernisation of data platforms across an enterprise scale environment on greenfield projects and an opportunity to work with various products and brands across the portfolio.

We are looking for a Principal Architect (Data Platforms) with:

• Expertise architecting data platforms, preferably Databricks or Snowflake
• Demonstrable experience working in cloud environments, either AWS or Azure
• An ability and desire to work with stakeholders from across a variety of business areas to define and architect greenfield solutions

Location: Houston on a hybrid basis (primarily in office)

Compensation: Flexible depending on experience + bonus and strong package
