Position Overview:

The Service Coordinator will serve as the central point of contact for all service-related inquiries, ensuring smooth and efficient support for our clientele. This role requires a strong technical background in residential AV systems, including Lutron lighting and shades, as well as Crestron, Savant, and Control4 control systems. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a knack for delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Troubleshooting: Provide expert guidance to clients by troubleshooting AV system issues over the phone, offering solutions, and escalating cases as needed.
• Service Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule service calls, ensuring prompt and efficient resolutions for client concerns.
• Billing and Invoicing: Manage service-related billing, including preparing invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records.
• Customer Communication: Act as the primary liaison between clients and the technical team, maintaining clear and professional communication throughout the service process.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of service requests, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and client feedback.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with technicians, project managers, and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise: Strong background in servicing and troubleshooting residential AV equipment, including Lutron lighting and shades, Crestron, Savant, and Control4 systems.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to clients.
• Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and maintain detailed records.
• Customer Service: Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
• Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software, scheduling tools, and standard office applications.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a related role in the AV industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Lutron, Crestron, Savant, or Control4 systems.
• Previous experience in a service coordinator role within the AV or home automation industry.
