Position Title: Aviation Technician
Role Overview:
As a Senior Electrical Avionics Technician Level IV, you will:
- Handle the manufacturing, testing, and troubleshooting of high-precision electronic products for aerospace and defense applications.
- Execute tasks in accordance with approved technical data, work instructions, and compliance with both internal and external standards.
- Achieve or surpass performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Adhere to quality management system requirements and relevant aerospace industry standards.
- Ensure effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- FAA A&P License, FAA repairman certificate, or the ability to obtain an FAA repairman certification.
- Prior experience as an electromechanical technician, including testing, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of mechanical and electromechanical components in an industrial or aerospace environment.
- Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, height gauges, depth indicators, micrometers, power supplies, multimeters, pressure gauges, and flow meters.
- Experience working in an FAA Part 145 repair station is preferred.
