We are seeking a Director of IT to lead IT operations, resources, infrastructure, and security in our fast-paced, venture-backed company. This role will also oversee and develop budgeting efforts for the department.

The Director will manage enterprise software, networking, and information security, ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT operations and management in a high-tech manufacturing or contract manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• IT Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement IT plans aligned with company goals and growth. Collaborate with business leaders to address evolving IT needs.
• Enterprise Software & Cloud Computing: Manage enterprise software (on-prem and cloud) for business and manufacturing operations. Oversee system integrations and ensure scalability and cost-effectiveness.
• Information Security & Compliance: Develop and enforce security policies. Ensure compliance with standards (e.g., NIST 800.171, CMMC, ITAR). Conduct security assessments and manage IT audits.
• Infrastructure Operations: Oversee network infrastructure, security monitoring, and disaster recovery strategies. Investigate and resolve security incidents.
• IT Training & Support: Provide IT training and support, promoting a culture of security awareness.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor the IT team. Oversee recruitment, performance management, and vendor relationships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of IT management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Background in information security, compliance, and incident management.
• Experience with manufacturing IT systems is a plus.
• ITAR compliant (U.S. Person or permanent resident).

Desirable Qualifications:

• DoD 8570 Level II or higher certification (Sec+, CISSP).
• Experience with Microsoft GCC High and CMMC compliance.
• Experience with DoD, DOE, or government agencies is a plus.
