Overview:

We are seeking a polished and articulate Power BI Developer to support reporting needs for business and portfolio teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with IT processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment. This will be based in a beautiful office space in Downtown Minneapolis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to business and portfolio team needs.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and deliver impactful visualizations.
• Utilize Azure cloud services for data integration and storage.
• Leverage Power BI Fabric to enhance reporting capabilities (great to have).
• Follow IT best practices, including:
• Using code repositories for version control.
• Participating in Agile processes and sprints.
• Conducting code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
• Maintaining thorough documentation of development and processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Power BI report development.
• Strong understanding of Azure for cloud-based data solutions.
• Familiarity with Power BI Fabric and Microsoft Fabric (highly desired).
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
• Solid analyst skills to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation.
• Experience with IT processes such as Agile methodologies, code reviews, and proper documentation practices.
• Commitment to working onsite 2-3 days per week in a hybrid capacity.
