Job description:

Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using Power BI.

Create visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.

Connect to data sources, import data, and transform data for Business Intelligence.

Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.

Implement row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.

Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and transform them into technical solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve any BI-related issues.

Create and maintain documentation including requirements, design, and user manuals.

Stay up to date with advancements in Power BI and other data visualization tools.

Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in Power BI development.

Strong proficiency in SQL and DAX.

Experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.

Proven experience in data visualization and report/dashboard creation.

Knowledge of Power BI administration and cloud services (Power BI Service).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Experience with Power Apps as well

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience with other BI tools like Tableau or QlikView.

Familiarity with data integration tools (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory).
