Job Summary:
The role involves designing DIMM and custom memory modules for high-performance server and embedded applications. Responsibilities include high-speed PCB hardware design (10GHz+), schematic capture, component selection, PCB layout collaboration, post-layout SI/PI simulation, and validating designs in the lab. The engineer will perform root-cause analysis, recommend improvements, and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and test groups.
Qualifications:
- A BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of experience in high-speed interface work is required
- Proficiency in schematic capture, PCB design tools (Orcad CIS, Cadence), SI/PI simulation, and JEDEC DDR standards is essential
- Strong problem-solving, lab testing (oscilloscope/logic analyzer), and communication skills are also necessary.
