Litigation Associate
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas: general commercial litigation, securities litigation, M&A or corporate governance-related matters, antitrust litigation, SEC enforcement, or criminal and regulatory investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in a variety of litigation matters, including commercial disputes, securities cases, M&A-related issues, corporate governance matters, antitrust issues, SEC enforcement actions, and criminal and regulatory investigations.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
- Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and other filings.
- Participate in depositions, hearings, and other aspects of the litigation process.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience in commercial litigation, securities litigation, M&A or corporate governance matters, antitrust litigation, SEC enforcement, or criminal and regulatory investigations.
- Federal judicial clerkship is a significant plus.
