We are seeking candidates for a Quality Technician role. Compensation for this direct-hire opportunity is $56,160-$66,560 per year. Interested? Read below for more information!

What you’ll do as a Quality Technician:

• Perform dimension inspection layouts using Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), height gauges, calipers, and micrometers
• Ensure parts meet tolerances and comply with engineered drawings and other specifications
• Maintain and calibrate inspection room equipment inventory
• Ensure product quality by conducting in-process and post-production inspections
• Develop, maintain, and provide training for quality assurance procedures
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in manufacturing and quality documentation
• Provide cross-functional support to Engineering, Operations, and Purchasing teams
• Manage non-conformance reports
• Collaborate with departments, vendors, and customers for root cause analysis

What you need to become a Quality Technician:

• 2-year technical degree preferred
• At least 4-6 years of quality assurance/quality control experience
• Knowledge of industry quality systems and standards e.g. ISO 9000
• Experience with First Article Inspections (FIA)
• Knowledge of tooling, gages, specifications, and machining
• Advanced understanding of blueprint reading
• Able to frequently lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to perform repetitive wrist and hand movements
