Doyle Land Services, Inc. is seeking a GIS and data professional to provide support including but not limited to:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant to support our team in various administrative and technical tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data management, land surveying, and technical software applications such as CAD and JavaScript. This role requires excellent analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain data records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for team members.
  • Draft reports and documentation related to land surveying projects
  • Utilize CAD software to create detailed drawings and plans as required
  • Analyze data collected from various sources to support project development
  • Assist in the scripting of automated processes to enhance efficiency
  • Collaborate with team members on data collection efforts for ongoing projects
  • Support in troubleshooting issues related to relational databases and other technical tools.

Experience

  • Prior experience working as a GIS analyst
  • Familiarity with land surveying principles and practices is a plus
  • Proficient in ArcGIS Pro
  • Experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD software, SQL, or other geodatabase software (Python is a Plus)
  • Knowledge of working with mapping tools, GPS measuring tools, and distance and area calculations/conversions
  • Ability to edit and clean geospatial data to make visually appealing maps
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in geography, surveying, engineering, or similar discipline

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
