Role Description:
As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for developing more business opportunities by converting Fencing Projects to our DesignMaster Fencing product line. The Business Development Specialist will also be responsible for planning and conducting meetings with Architects, Engineers, contractors, and other sales leads to present the extensive portfolio of DesignMaster Fence Systems products with the aim of converting end users to DesignMaster Fence Systems. This individual will also be responsible for building and maintaining close relationships with new and existing Distributors to assist in product training, maintaining inventory, and order fulfillment for end users. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who wants to join the growing and supportive team in breaking all limitations and growing our Ornamental & Security Fencing business.
Responsibilities:
- Be the expert for all engineers and architects in the industry
- Convert market to DesignMaster Fence Systems
- Work as a team with other departments and divisions within the company
- Contribute to the development and expansion of product offering
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to expand the company's market share in the Ornamental & Security Fencing industry
- Track and manage a database of New, existing, and future projects
- Assist in opening New and developing existing Distributors
- Attend trade events and shows
- Assist in Certification classes and continuing education for contractors
- Developing new products
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales, Construction, or related field
- Ability to build relationships within the steel, construction, design, or security markets
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and business acumen skills
- Passionate and motivated to exceed goals
- Strong computer literacy skills
- Adaptability to changing market conditions and clients needs
- Bilingual, Spanish & English a plus
- Ability to travel frequently both domestically and internationally
