Job Overview


Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Administrator to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of contract management processes and legal frameworks, particularly in relation to intellectual property law. This role is crucial for ensuring that all contracts are executed efficiently, comply with applicable laws, and align with the strategic goals of the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire contract lifecycle from initiation to execution, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, including procurement agreements and service contracts.
  • Conduct thorough document management and document review to maintain accurate records of all contractual agreements.
  • Collaborate with various departments to procure necessary resources while managing pricing strategies effectively.
  • Support strategic planning initiatives by providing insights on contract terms and conditions that may impact business objectives.
  • Assist in proposal writing for new projects or partnerships, ensuring all contractual obligations are clearly defined.
  • Implement change management processes related to contract modifications or renewals, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and compliant.
  • Maintain a centralized database of contracts and related documents for easy access and retrieval.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in contract administration or a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of intellectual property law and procurement processes.
  • Excellent document management skills with attention to detail in document review.
  • Proficient in strategic planning techniques and proposal writing methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to negotiate effectively.
  • Familiarity with change management principles is a plus.
