• W2 Contract, 12 months
• This position is hybrid with 3 days in office.
• The office is located in Newark, DE.
• Candidates must be located within 45 minutes of Newark, DE.
• The work schedule is 8:00 AM-4:30 PM.
• The resource may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
• Travel may be required using a personal vehicle. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license.
Overview
Our client is seeking a Project Management Analyst (PMA) to support the Project Managers who manage the planning and execution of the electric side of substation, distribution, and transmission projects and/or programs in the Delware region.
Roles and responsibilities of the PMA include support on a variety of project analytical activities, contract administration, contract requisition, contract payment authorizations, invoice review and approval, accruals, and overall contract tracking responsibilities. PMA's will be responsible for managing a large amount of program level data that is tracked through a variety of Microsoft programs (Excel, SharePoint, PowerBI) and internal company applications. The role requires strong customer service, time management, organization, and attention to detail skills.
Responsibilities
• Act as liaison between Project Management and work groups required to execute project schedule, control project scope, manage dollars, clearance orders and onsite materials management.
• Ensures project costs, schedule, scope, and risks are managed, including the development of recovery plans, to stay within approved limits schedule and spending.
• Provides project leads with information required for effective communication with key stakeholders.
• At times lead meetings with external and internal stakeholders to coordinate project requirements/workflow.
• Effectively form good working relationships with team members, Sr Project Managers, internal interfacing organizations and contract service providers as applicable.
Required Skills & Experience
• High School Diploma and 5-8 years of experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 1-5 years of related experience.
• Professional experience working in a team/cross-functional environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of PC and mainframe applications, including Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneNote, Co-Pilot and PowerBI.
• Excellent communication skills including public speaking, negotiation, and customer service.
• Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Ability to balance focus on the various aspects of the job, setting priorities and maintaining consistency.
