Job Title: Salesforce Application Development Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Application Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of relevant experience in Salesforce application development and production support. This role requires expertise in monitoring, troubleshooting, debugging, addressing system/security vulnerabilities, implementing fixes, and managing integrations. The candidate will also participate in system deprecation, migration, and on-call support to ensure the seamless operation of Salesforce applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide production support for Salesforce applications, including proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
- Debug system errors and address system and security vulnerabilities promptly.
- Implement fixes, patches, and updates to maintain the performance and security of Salesforce systems.
- Build, test, and deploy REST API integrations with external systems to enhance functionality and streamline processes.
- Support system migrations and manage the deprecation of outdated components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other platforms and tools.
- Be part of the on-call support rotation, addressing critical incidents and minimizing downtime.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards for system security and data privacy.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development, administration, and support.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce Platform, including customizations, configurations, workflows, and automation.
- Proven experience in REST API integrations with third-party systems.
- Demonstrated ability in production support and on-call management, with a focus on incident resolution and root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with addressing system vulnerabilities and implementing secure solutions.
- Experience in managing Salesforce migrations and system deprecations.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce security features, including roles, profiles, sharing rules, and authentication.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues effectively using logs and other diagnostic tools.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer, or similar) are a plus.
