BIM Technician/ VDC Coorindator

About the Company

One of the leading General Contractors in the North Carolina market with over 50 years of experience, a wide project portfolio including commercial buildings, residential and multifamily and healthcare. They are now looking for an ambitious BIM Technician to come in an join their growing VDC team.

Responsibilities

• Leading 3D coordination with subcontractors
• Overseeing coordination meetings
• Create models for architectural, civil, construction, mechanical and structural
• Communicate coordination issues and interact with clients, architects and designers
• Assist in leveraging BIM models for quantity take-off, constructibility reviews
• Create presentation and visual aids

Experience Required

• Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or similar related field
• At least 3 years of experience in design, 3D modelling, engineering or architecture
• Experience in the coordination of MEP/FP building systems
• Strength in understanding construction documents, shop drawings and other design tools
• Profdiciency in Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, BIM360 or similar
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and with teams
