Senior Electrical Engineer

Role Overview
The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the design and execution of electrical systems for large-scale, complex projects. This role involves technical leadership, client collaboration, and the mentorship of junior engineers. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in healthcare project design and a passion for innovation and excellence in engineering.
Responsibilities
- Represent the firm in all interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and oversee electrical system designs for a variety of building types, with a focus on healthcare facilities.
- Prepare feasibility studies, due diligence reports, and technical analyses.
- Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural, mechanical, and telecom systems.
- Establish design standards, project budgets, and schedules.
- Oversee project deliverables, including detailed drawings, reports, and specifications.
- Manage project contracts, including proposals and service agreements.
- Participate in QA/QC processes to ensure design accuracy and compliance.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineering staff.
- Engage in business development activities, such as preparing presentations and attending industry events.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure is required.
- 8+ years of experience in electrical design, preferably within a consulting firm.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or project management experience.
- Strong expertise in healthcare project design and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD and Revit .
- LEED AP accreditation is highly preferred.
- Exceptional problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
