Communications Specialist
Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Publishing
- Develop and publish content across various communication channels (e.g., carousel stories, banners, SharePoint sites, newsletters, digital signage).
- Communication Materials
- Coordinate communication packs, briefing documents, slides, talking points, and FAQs for enterprise initiatives.
- Newsletter Production
- Produce internal and external newsletters as needed.
- Event Support
- Assist with planning and executing events such as town halls, fireside chats, and leadership sessions.
- Creative Collaboration
- Work with the creative team to fulfill digital and print design needs, including event signage and backdrops.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, or English.
- Experience: 1-3 years in a similar role (open to more experienced candidates, but note this is an early-career role).
- Strong writing skills with the ability to draft newsletters, video scripts, and stories; review information; and create summaries/talking points.
- External communication experience, including creating press releases and newsletters, is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects (3-5) and work independently.
- Writing samples are highly desirable.
