Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Marketing Specialist with 5+ years experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in marketing, along with a passion for advocating and promoting new products within the organization. As a Product Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in introducing and positioning new products to both internal teams and the wider organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Advocacy: Act as the voice of the product within the organization, ensuring that key internal stakeholders are well-informed and enthusiastic about new product releases.
Internal Promotion: Lead initiatives to promote new products within the organization, ensuring that all teams are equipped with the necessary information and resources to support product launches.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to align on product messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
Marketing Campaigns: Develop and execute internal marketing campaigns to drive awareness, education, and adoption of new products.
Tool Utilization: Leverage a variety of marketing tools (e.g., CRM, email marketing, content management systems) as well as advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical tools to track product performance and generate insights.
Content Creation: Create engaging product collateral, presentations, and other internal communication materials to highlight product features and benefits.
Market Insights: Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to ensure the company’s products are positioned effectively within the industry.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Marketing Experience: Proven experience in a marketing role with a strong understanding of product marketing strategies and tactics.
Product Advocacy: Demonstrated experience in advocating for and promoting new products internally, ensuring alignment across teams.
Internal Promotion & Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence and engage internal stakeholders and drive product adoption.
Analytical Proficiency: Experience with marketing tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software. Ability to analyze data and present actionable insights.
Startup Experience (Advantageous): Experience working in a startup environment is a plus, with an ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic settings.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
Experience with product launches and cross-functional team collaboration.
Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms.
